Five people were injured when a minibus crashed into a bus in Beyoğlu.

The minibus, whose driver's name and license plate are unknown, was travelling from Tarlabaşı Boulevard towards Unkapanı when it went out of control for an unknown reason and crashed into the back of a bus parked on the side of the road.

Meanwhile, a person walking on the sidewalk was struck by a minibus that skidded after the accident and fell from the bridge to the road below. Five people were injured in the accident.

Upon notice, police, health and fire teams were dispatched to the region.

Fire crews rescued the driver and a person trapped in the minibus.

The five injured people were taken to surrounding hospitals by ambulance after the intervention of medical teams.

It was learned that two of the injured were in serious condition.
