11 arrests in illegal betting operation in Papara

Of the 15 suspects referred to the courthouse within the scope of the illegal betting operation carried out against Papara, 11 were arrested and 4 were released on condition of judicial control.

ARREST REQUESTED FOR 15 SUSPECTS

As part of the illegal betting investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 15 suspects, including Papara's owner Ahmed Faruk Karslı, were referred to the courthouse.

According to DHA news; after completing their statements at the prosecutor's office, the suspects were referred to the criminal court of peace with a request for arrest.

11 SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Of the suspects referred to the criminal court of peace; Papara owner Ahmed Faruk Karslı and Dilek Gezer, Kadir Can Köse, Sadık Yıldırım, Cengiz Sevim, İlker Diker, Murat Arslan, Cenab Doğru, Funda Fırat Demirci, Volkan Nazmi Metin, Ziya Uçar were arrested; while Taylan Özgür Kiraz, Nergis Çetinkaya, Mustafa Yücetepe and Gökhan Haznedaroğlu were released on the condition of judicial control in the form of 'signing' and 'ban on travelling abroad'.
