Rubin midfielder hospitalized with bleeding

Rubin Kazan footballer Daler Kuzyaev was taken to a hospital following the eleventh-round Russian Football Premier League match against Krylia Sovetov Samara. The information is reflected in the official match report on the RPL website.

In Saturday's game, the Kazan team won a 2-0 home victory over the Samara club. Kuzyaev started the match in the starting lineup but was substituted during the halftime break.

"Rubin player Kuzyaev sustained an injury in the 36th minute of the match. A preliminary diagnosis of a concussion and a nasal fracture has been made. First aid was administered: the nosebleed was stopped, and the player was transported to Clinical Hospital No. 7 for a thorough examination. This was recorded by Rubin physician Denis Solodkov," the report states.

The athlete joined the Kazan club on September 14 as a free agent, signing a contract until the summer of 2026. This game was his third with his new team.
