Leningradets hockey players will play their first official match in the MNHL championship.


Today, the young hockey team, created this summer at the behest of Governor Alexander Drozdenko, will play its first official match in the National Youth Hockey League championship, according to the regional sports committee's public page.
The Leningrad team's opponent will be St. Petersburg's Typhoon. The Leningrad hockey players met Typhoon in a friendly match on September 3 and won 5-2.
The game will begin at 1:00 PM at the Vyborg Sports Complex. Admission is free. However, an hour before kickoff, fans will be able to enjoy interactive activities.
Earlier, MK in the Leningrad Region reported that the official presentation of the Leningradets hockey team took place in Gatchina.
