Fakel youth team beat volleyball players from Moscow in Novy Urengoy

Novy Urengoy is hosting the Youth League Volleyball Cup for the first time; the second day of matches took place on May 13. Yamal's Fakel beat its rival from Moscow, as reported on the Novy Urengoy volleyball club's website.

"The home team defeated their opponents in three sets again, this time beating Moscow's Dynamo-Olimp. And although the Yamal team faced serious resistance from the Muscovites in each of the games, the home team was extremely reliable in the finals, which helped them achieve the result. Fakel Yamal (Novy Urengoy) — Dynamo-Olimp (Moscow) — 3:0 (25:20, 25:18, 25:21)," the report says.

On May 14, Yamal athletes will play against Novosibirsk's Lokomotiv-SShOR.

Let us recall that the northerners also won the previous Cup match: they beat the volleyball players from Novokuibyshevsk.
