Bryansk hosts international boxing tournament among law enforcement officers


Bryansk is hosting a boxing tournament among employees of the security agencies of Russia and Belarus. The large-scale event is being held under the auspices of the regional organization of the Dynamo society and is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The day before, on May 12, the grand opening of the tournament took place within the walls of the Artem Osipenko Martial Arts Palace. The participants of the competition were welcomed by Governor Alexander Bogomaz.

"Our region is a border region, and I would like to once again express my deep gratitude to all our security agencies: the FSB, the Border Guard Directorate of the FSB of Russia, the Russian National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, BARS-Bryansk, who today, together with our military personnel on our land, on the border, protect both the residents of our Bryansk region and our great country," the head of the region noted.
It should be added that the competition program includes over 50 athletes in seven men's and one women's weight categories. Representatives of law enforcement agencies from different Russian regions, as well as those from Gomel and Mogilev, will compete for victory.
