A referee from Magnitogorsk received a gold ring for 500 VHL matches.

Hockey referee Alexei Shemyakin refereed his 500th game in the Supreme Hockey League. In honor of this achievement, the league's management presented him with a personalized gold ring.

The referee became only the third in VHL history to reach this milestone. Shemyakin refereed his milestone match on September 27 in Orsk, in a game between Yuzhny Ural and Chelny.

The judge himself joked that he would wear the ring for a while to show it to his family, friends, and colleagues as a symbol of a goal to strive for.
