Video of the September 21 solar eclipse from space has been released.

The SDO space observatory captured the solar eclipse on September 21 from Earth orbit.

The video was published by IKI and ISEF.

The solar eclipse was invisible from Eurasia. The lunar disk passed in front of the Sun in New Zealand and coastal Australia. The eclipse was the second and final one of 2025. It was partial, meaning the Sun was not completely obscured from any point on Earth.
