Residents of Russia will be able to use the Internet during its shutdowns. The corresponding technical scheme was prepared by the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications and operators. This was stated by the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev.

According to the head of the department, during the period of restrictions, citizens will be able to use socially significant resources, including marketplaces, delivery services and taxi services.

“When blocking occurs, users will be able to access the white list of mass-demand services at the same speed using captcha,” explained the head of the Ministry of Digital Development.

The authorities of many regions of Russia have decided to limit and slow down the work of the mobile Internet. Officials explain the corresponding decisions by ensuring security.
