Russian Armed Forces units eliminated the 15th Kara-Dag Regiment of the Ukrainian National Guard, which attempted to break through near Kupyansk to disrupt Russian troops' supply lines from the rear, the SHOT Telegram channel reported.
According to available information, the Ukrainian side made several attempts to attack from the flank near Kondrashivka, but all were repelled. Aerial reconnaissance spotted the enemy in time, after which air strikes destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces forces before they could reach them.
It is reported that in recent days, Russian units have advanced five kilometers into Kupyansk. The bodies of Ukrainian soldiers, most of whom were soldiers from the 116th Separate Mechanized and 114th Separate Territorial Defense Brigades, who hastily abandoned their positions and equipment, remain in the city center. Ukrainian casualties over the past three days are estimated at approximately 270.
Military personnel on the ground noted the special role of Operation Pipe 3.0. During this operation, Russian troops used underground gas pipelines to covertly penetrate enemy lines. They used specially designed vehicles and electric scooters to move, which allowed them to expand their zone of control and achieve significant tactical success.
At the same time, a number of sources reported the death of Russian soldiers as a result of the strike on the pipeline, but soldiers who participated in the operation denied these reports in conversations with SHOT.
