The price of a troy ounce exceeded $36
The price of silver on the stock exchange reached its highest level in the last 13 years.
For the first time since September 2011, the price exceeded the $36 per troy ounce mark, according to trading data on the Comex exchange.
As Vedomosti writes, the main factors behind the price growth remain the increased interest in solar energy in the world (silver is used to produce solar panels) and the recovery of demand in the Indian market.
