Seismologists recorded a magnitude 5.6 earthquake near the coast of Japan.

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean off the east coast of Japan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
According to the EMSC, the earthquake's epicenter was located 127 kilometers east of Miyako City. The center placed the seismic center at a depth of 19 kilometers. There are currently no reports of damage or casualties. No tsunami warning has been issued.
Earlier, tremors with a magnitude of 5.2 were recorded in Kamchatka. The epicenter was in Avacha Bay, 105 kilometers south of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The city felt tremors of up to magnitude 3.0. There were no reports of damage or casualties.
