MOSCOW, June 26 - RIA Novosti. Strikes were carried out on transport hubs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as in the part of the Zaporizhia region controlled by Kyiv, Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Mykolaiv pro-Russian underground, told RIA Novosti. "Kherson region - one strike... on ammunition depots... Dnipropetrovsk region - three strikes... railway hubs and equipment depots, railway infrastructure facilities... Zaporizhia region - one strike... warehouses and transport hubs supporting a group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the southern direction," the agency's source said. In addition, according to Lebedev, a strike was also carried out on a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson direction in the Mykolaiv region. The Zaporizhia region became a subject of the Russian Federation following a referendum held in September 2022, the results of which Kyiv does not recognize and continues to shell the territory. More than 70% of the Zaporizhia region is under the control of Russia, while the former regional center of the region, the city of Zaporizhia, remains under the control of Ukrainian troops. Since March 2023, Melitopol has become the administrative center of the region. The Kherson region is a region of Russia located in the lower reaches of the Dnieper, washed by the Azov and Black Seas. The region became a subject of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. The Ukrainian side does not recognize its legitimacy and continues to shell the territory. Currently, 75% of the Kherson region is under the control of Russia, and part on the right bank of the Dnieper, including the city of Kherson, is held by Ukrainian troops.
