The roadmap for preparing the infrastructure of Primorsky Krai and the city of Vladivostok for the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2025) includes more than 200 events, the Roscongress Foundation reported. Deputy Prime Minister - Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the EEF Organizing Committee Yuri Trutnev held a meeting on preparations for the forum, the report says. The head of the region Oleg Kozhemyako spoke about the progress of preparations in Primorsky Krai and Vladivostok for the EEF-2025. "More than 200 events are envisaged as part of the roadmap for preparing the infrastructure of the region and the city of Vladivostok for the EEF. Headquarters are working to ensure public order, citizen safety and electricity supply. 455 volunteers have been trained," the report says. Trutnev, whose words are quoted in the message, recalled that thanks to the implementation of new investment projects, the Far East has achieved higher economic growth than other territories of Russia. "I consider this extremely important. Our task is to do everything possible to ensure that the Eastern Economic Forum, where the results of our ten years of work will be summed up this year, is held at a decent level," Roscongress quotes Trutnev as saying. According to the organizers, at the meeting, Rector of the Far Eastern Federal University Boris Korobets reported on the preparation of the campus and the territory of the university. For the fourth year in a row, a lecture for students and young people of Primorye will be held during the EEF with the support of the Roscongress Foundation and the Russian Knowledge Society. This year, one of the main topics of the lecture will be "Motherland: History, Traditions, Unity", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War and World War II. In person, 350 students will take part in the lecture, another 8.5 million people will join the event online. In addition, according to Roscongress, an exhibition of federal government bodies "Welcome to the Far East!" will be held on the sidelines of the forum in the main building of FEFU. Seven agencies are planning to present exhibition stands: the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Rosnedra, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. The Tenth Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 3-6 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme of the EEF this year is "The Far East - Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity."
