MOSCOW, August 8 - RIA Novosti. The majority of Russians (78.4%) trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, almost three quarters of citizens (74.3%) approve of the work of the head of state, according to the results of a survey by the VTsIOM Analytical Center, published on its website. Eight out of ten (78.4%) respondents said they trust Putin, 16.9% of respondents expressed no confidence in the head of state. In addition, 74.3% of Russian citizens approve of his work as president, while 15.8% disapprove. The work of the Russian government is approved by 49.3% of respondents, while 20.3% disapprove. At the same time, 60.1% of respondents said they trust the head of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin, while 20.3% said they do not trust him. When asked which party they would vote for if the State Duma elections were held next Sunday, 33.6% of Russians named United Russia, 10.5% - the LDPR, 10.1% - the Communist Party, 7.8% - the New People party, 3.8% - the A Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth party. In addition, 10.5% of surveyed Russians indicated non-parliamentary parties. The VTsIOM-Sputnik initiative survey was conducted from July 28 to August 3, 2025 among 1,600 Russians over 18 years of age. The survey method was a telephone interview using a random sample of mobile numbers. The maximum error with a probability of 95% does not exceed 1%.
