Yuri Sytnik , a distinguished Russian pilot and former flight director for Vnukovo Airlines, explained the reason for the cargo plane's low flight over New Moscow . He believes the crew followed the instructions required for flights in a metropolis like Moscow. His comment on the situation is reported by RT.
Sytnyk noted that the flight took place under the control of air defense systems and civilian air traffic controllers.
Such a maneuver requires the crew to strictly follow instructions and have experience, the honored pilot of Russia emphasized.
"As we say, a push-button pilot can't handle this automatically. This is performed by pilots with very good flight time and piloting technique," Sytnyk asserts.
He speculated that the footage leaked online depicted an An-124. This is precisely the well-known route, the so-called Moscow flyby. "It flew lower than usual, apparently for safety reasons," Sytnik shared.
Previously, war correspondent Yuri Kotenok suggested that the plane flew low over New Moscow due to the drone threat.
On September 22, it became known that an An-124 aircraft flew over New Moscow at an extremely low altitude.
