A courier transporting kilograms of drugs in a cylinder was caught in the Leningrad Region

A man was caught in the Leningrad Region who was transporting almost six and a half kilograms of drugs in a car. As reported by 78.ru , the substances were placed in a metal cylinder.

It is specified that the police stopped the criminal's car on a tip from the regional Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking.

The man was driving a Lada Largus. At the 681st kilometer of the M-11 Neva highway, traffic police officers asked him to stop. They checked the trunk of the car and found a metal cylinder there. The driver said that he was installing water supply systems, but the inspection showed that the cylinder contained six and a half kilograms of drugs, packaged in 12 bags.

A 36-year-old resident of the Leningrad region turned out to be a drug courier. A criminal case was opened against him.
