Levi Colwill, Chelsea's 22-year-old center back, underwent surgery yesterday to treat a knee ligament injury he suffered in training on Tuesday.

The English international, valued at 55 million euros, will now face a long break, returning to the pitch only in the middle of next year.

Colwill, it should be remembered, was used in 43 games by Enzo Maresca in 2024/25, and was one of the pillars of the London club's defense.
