Alex Muralha will be out of Mirassol's match against Corinthians

Goalkeeper Alex Muralha will not be available to coach Rafael Guanaes for the duel between Mirassol and Corinthians , which takes place this Saturday, for the Brasileirão.

The number 23 suffered a cut on his leg during training this week and needed five stitches. With the injury, he will be out of this weekend's match.

A starter for Leão in 19 of the 20 games in 2025, Muralha was replaced by Walter in the last round, in the defeat to Bragantino away from home. Despite the setback, the former Corinthians and Cuiabá goalkeeper had a good performance and was replaced by Guanaes as a starter until the break for the Club World Cup, next month.

Without Muralha, Thomazella should be Walter's replacement against Timão. He arrived at Mirassol in 2024 and has not yet played for the club.

Mirassol and Corinthians face each other this Saturday (10), for the eighth round of the Brazilian Championship. The ball rolls at 6:30 pm at Maião, in Mirassol.
