Spain. Body found in school bus

The body of a man was found inside a school bus in the city of Mungía, Spain, on Tuesday. According to Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia and radio station Antena 3 , the students discovered the body. On their way to school, the students tried to check whether the man was responding to stimuli until they realized he was dead. It was then that the driver alerted the emergency services and the students were removed from the vehicle.
According to the same newspaper, which cites sources from the Basque government's Security Department, the driver did not carry out a complete inspection of the bus before the start of the journey and, therefore, did not notice the body inside the vehicle.
But there are other versions of what happened. Telecinco and ABC claim that the bus had not yet started its journey to the school when the driver noticed that there was a man's body inside the bus.
The authorities present at the scene confirmed that it was a corpse and the Ertzaintza (Autonomous Police of the Basque Country) began an investigation to clarify what had happened, with the Basque Security Department confirming that it was a suicide.
La Vanguardia also reports that the students are being monitored, as the school has activated a protocol to provide psychological support to all those who witnessed the incident. Out of respect for the privacy of the victim's family, no further information will be released about the man's identity or the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
