Fans of photographs taken from the International Space Station know that Don Pettit is one of the astronauts who has shared the most images during his stay in orbit.
However, two months after returning to Earth, it appears that the 70-year-old American astronaut continues to share photographs taken during the months he spent aboard the International Space Station.
Pettit's latest photo was shared on his X social media page and showcases the vibrant lights of Southeast Asia, with the astronaut mentioning in the post that he used the stars as fixed points. As is customary with this astronaut, the end result is beautiful and worthy of being admired by all fans of this type of photography.
It is not known whether Pettit would be available or fit to return to the International Space Station but, judging by this share, the astronaut still has some images and videos in his personal 'archive' to share.
You can see the photograph in question below, as well as Pettit's post.
