ULS GUARDA NOTICE

Due to an unexpected power failure, the Guarda Local Health Unit informs that it had to make some changes in order to continue to provide health services safely.

In this sense, the Obstetric Emergency Services and Pediatric Emergency Service will now operate in the OUTPATIENT CONSULTATION building (NEW PAVILION). Therefore, the appointments scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled, except those at the Oncology Day Hospital.

Until the power supply is restored, the Guarda ULS will only continue to operate in EMERGENCY services, i.e., services that are absolutely essential to safeguard the lives of patients. Before going to the emergency room, call 808 24 24 24.

The Guarda Local Health Unit informs that, given the current energy constraints, other contingency measures are being implemented in the institution.

The Guarda ULS has diesel generators to provide emergency power, thus ensuring the safety of our patients.
