Luxury homes: the 10 streets with the most expensive houses in Portugal

Buying a house on Portugal's most expensive street costs, on average, €8,106,364 in July. This is at least the asking price for owners of the exclusive Quinta do Lago development in Almancil, Algarve.
The top ten most expensive streets to buy a house are dominated by properties located in Cascais, according to an analysis by idealista, Portugal's real estate marketplace.
Completing the podium of this luxury ranking are Rua Soto Maior, in Sintra, with an average price of 3,912,000 euros, and Avenida dos Descobrimentos, in Lagos (3,797,450 euros).
The fourth most exclusive address for buying a house is Rua Vilas do Mar, in the parish of Carvalhal (€3,644,444). Next in the table are Rua Faias, located in Cascais (€3,589,091) and Rua Melo e Sousa, in Estoril, where the average price of luxury housing is around €3,554,768.
In seventh place is Rua dos Pinheiros, located in Cascais, with houses priced at an average of €3,312,105. The list of the ten most expensive streets is completed by Rua do Pinhal, in Estoril (€3,195,000), Avenida 24 de Julho, in Lisbon (€3,054,850), and Rua Carreira de Tiro, in Barcarena (€3,021,933).

To prepare this analysis, idealista analyzed the absolute average price of apartments and houses advertised on the same street.
To avoid data distortions, only streets with at least 10 listings were considered, eliminating duplicate properties.
This analysis only reveals the average price of streets with properties for sale, which does not mean that these are the most expensive homes in each market.
