DJ Breyth and Camané liven up “Summer in Tavira”

The Palácio da Galeria park, in Tavira , hosts two shows in August that promise to mark the “Summer in Tavira” program: DJ Breyth, on August 12, and Camané, on the 13th. Two leading names in different musical universes, for different audiences.

On the 12th, at 10:00 pm, the night will be dedicated to youth with a performance by DJ BREYTH, an initiative of the Student Association of Dr. Jorge Augusto Correia Secondary School, with the support of the Tavira City Council. The artist is already a well-established name in the Afro House scene. Cledy Figueira was born in Angola, but it was in Lisbon that he adopted the name by which he is known.

As a DJ, BREYTH “brings charisma and good energy to every performance, filling his sets with personal edits, unreleased tracks and versions that can't be heard anywhere else,” the press release reads.

The DJ has performed all over the world, including in countries such as the United States, India, Morocco, England, and France, among others. He recently created his own record label, Arrifana Records, based in Lisbon, with the goal of creating a platform for new talented producers and artists, helping them reach a wider audience by promoting their music worldwide.

The first part of this concert will be performed by DJ Van Gohen.

On the 13th, also at 10 p.m., it's Camané's turn to take the stage, presenting the show "Inquietação." The fado singer pays tribute to José Mário Branco, in his own name, with a repertoire entirely exclusive to the singer-songwriter.

This musical moment will have the usual trio of guitars that accompanies Camané, but there will be other instrumentations and other musical cores outside the sound of fado that will complement all these

songs.
