Curiosity led hundreds of people to travel on the metrobus

Fifteen years after the closure of the Lousã Line, hundreds of users returned to travel part of the route, in a demonstration of the Mondego Mobility System, between Miranda do Corvo and Lousã stations. While some were driven by curiosity, others (many) wanted to relive the time when the railcar ran along the old railway line.
"For many years, I made the journey from Serpins to Coimbra. Doing it again, even if it's on the metro, is a reminder of the landscapes, the journey, and also a time when I was younger," said José Luís, 73.
