Italians delighted with the Polish champion! Another well-deserved award

An exciting volleyball match is scheduled for Sunday (November 2nd) on the Italian Peninsula. Sir Susa Scai Perugia, featuring Kamil Semeniuk and Wassim Ben Tara (a Tunisian volleyball player with Polish citizenship), will play away against Valsa Group Modena.
Kamil Semeniuk wins the match MVP award. The Polish international is in great form.Although Perugia was the favorite, it was safe to assume that Modena would do everything they could to beat their higher-ranked opponents on home soil. This was indeed the case, as although the visitors won 3-1, the match was hardly a walk in the park.
Perugia, thanks to the three-point victory, is second in the Italian league table. Rana Verona, the team of Semeniuk and company, is one point ahead of the leaders.
Interestingly, Semeniuk was awarded the match's MVP award . The Pole wasn't the best scorer, but he certainly finished important shots, and he also maintained a good level of play in several elements. He scored nine points, including three aces, a 63% positive reception rate, and made six valuable saves, which allowed Perugia to launch effective counterattacks.
This is typical Semeniuk play, which Polish fans should recognize from his time with the national team. Although the receiver isn't a frontman, he may still be the most important player on the pitch.
"I'm happy, but the MVP award goes to the entire team. It was a very difficult match against a demanding opponent. Modena has been playing very well since the beginning of the season, and they confirmed it against us. The most important thing, however, is that we stayed focused and balanced until the end. We had some issues with our game, but we picked ourselves up and started showing our true style. We're happy because we won a difficult match," said the Polish receiver after the victory.
Interestingly, the match against Modena saw two milestone anniversaries for the visiting side. Italian setter Simone Giannelli recorded his 400th appearance in the competition. Meanwhile, Semeniuk's teammate at center, Japanese Yuki Ishikawa, made his 300th appearance on the pitch in Italy.
