At this stage of the competition, only 16 teams remain in the cup competition, with the majority of them from the Ekstraklasa (10). Besides Pogoń, these include Lech Poznań, Jagiellonia Białystok, Raków Częstochowa, GKS Katowice, Widzew Łódź, Górnik Zabrze, Lechia Gdańsk, Korona Kielce, and Piast Gliwice. Furthermore, there are three first-division teams (Wisła Kraków, Śląsk Wrocław, and Polonia Bytom), second-division Chojniczanka Chojnice, which controversially eliminated Świt Szczecin, and two third-division teams (Zawisza Bydgoszcz and Avia Świdnik, which dismissed Flota Świnoujście).
The home team will be a team from a lower league, and if both opponents are from the same league, the first-drawn team will play at home. The battle for a spot in the quarterfinals will take place from December 2nd to 4th. Tuesday's draw will be broadcast live on TVP Sport.©℗ (mij)
