Change of captain in the Polish national volleyball team. Nikola Grbić has just announced it

It turns out, however, that this is not all, because you can learn, among other things, about the upcoming change of era by looking at the captaincy of the Polish national volleyball team. Noting that Kurek was among those called up for the 2025 season.
"He said he would like to focus more on being a player. I never asked him to take on so much. I didn't say there was a situation I couldn't take care of myself. But he can't change it. That's just the way he is built. He feels he has to do it and that's it," admitted Grbić, referring to Kurek's decision.
So far, the natural successor, at least looking at the functioning of the group led by the Serb, was Aleksander Śliwka. However, from the quoted conversation it appears that the captain of the national team may be someone else.
– […] I don’t know if I need that kind of burden for him. I need him to play his best. I don’t need any of them to lose that much energy because of it. It’s a tough one because it’s much easier to make someone think about something than to stop thinking about something. I won’t announce who the captain will be now. We still have time for that. We’ll talk about it and then make a decision – added the national team coach in the context of the receiver, who currently plays in the Japanese league.
Who could become the new captain of the national team? This will probably become clear in the coming weeks or months. For Polish volleyball fans, it will certainly be a big change.
