Can you get a star from the sky? Chanel proves it is. In its new holiday makeup collection, "Holiday 2025: Winter Constellation," the renowned French fashion house encourages us to look up at the sky and observe the star patterns that have guided us for centuries.
Coco Chanel was a rather superstitious person who believed that we don't necessarily control our own destiny. Hence, many of her collections featured a multitude of "talismans" intended to serve a protective purpose. In the new winter collection, CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio, in collaboration with Cécile Paravina , a member of the Comètes Collective, references Gabrielle's own beliefs and creates a series of cosmetics based on symbols.
Holiday 2025: Winter Constellation is inspired by the night sky, which dazzles with the brilliance of stars every night. It is within this celestial space that Coco Chanel's five most important talismans are hidden: the lion, the camellia, the comet, the ear of wheat, and the pearl.
