Nearly PLN 370 million for 242 hospitals. We know where the cardiology funding from the National Health Fund will go.

- 242 hospitals received a total of almost PLN 370 million from the National Health Fund for cardiological care
- 289 applications were assessed in the competition; 242 projects received support
- Eight centers received the most points. Forty-seven entities will not receive funding.
The Ministry of Health presented the results of the recruitment no. KPOD.07.02-IP.10-001/25 under the investment D1.1.1 "Development and modernization of the infrastructure of highly specialized care centers and other medical entities in the field of cardiology of centers qualified for OK I" for the purchase or modernization of medical devices or products necessary to provide cardiological care (KSK).
The money could be obtained for the purchase or modernization of medical devices or products necessary to provide cardiological care within the meaning of the Act of 4 June 2025 on the National Cardiological Network in organizational units within the structure of a medical facility.
The call for proposals received 292 applications, of which three were withdrawn by the applicants. 289 applications were evaluated. Following the evaluation, 242 projects were positively assessed based on the project selection criteria. These projects were therefore recommended for support in accordance with the competition terms, for a total amount of PLN 369,802,501.88, according to the ranking list.
Funding was not awarded to 47 applicants . All applicants will be notified in writing of the detailed outcome.
The most points, 68 each, were obtained by 8 centers:
- Independent Public Health Care Facility in Siedlce : cardiology without borders - expansion and modernization of infrastructure based on modern specialist equipment;
- University Clinical Hospital in Poznań : increasing the quality and availability of cardiological care;
- Regional Hospital in Kołobrzeg : increasing access to modern cardiac treatment through the purchase of medical equipment;
- Health Care Complex in Łęczyca : development of cardiological care;
- Beskid Oncology Center - John Paul II Municipal Hospital in Bielsko-Biała : development and modernization of infrastructure for the purchase of medical devices for the cardiology and cardio-oncology department;
- St. Anne's Hospital in Miechów : improving access to and quality of cardiological care through the purchase of specialized medical equipment;
- Dr. Ludwik Rydygier Provincial Hospital in Suwałki : improving the quality and availability of cardiological care;
- Municipal Hospital in Tychy Sp. z o . o.: purchase and modernization of equipment and medical products necessary to provide cardiological care in the cardiology department and cardiology clinic.
