The country's economy continues to grow. It's doing better than expected.

Spain's gross domestic product in the second quarter exceeded expectations, growing by 0.7%, compared to the forecast of 0.6%.
"Spain is currently a major outlier in terms of economic growth. It's also a great place to invest," Spanish Finance Minister Carlos Cuerpo told CNBC.
The southern European country continues to lead the eurozone in growth . Annual gross domestic product is forecast to expand by 2.5% this year , while the economies of France, Germany, and Italy are expected to grow by 0.6%, 0%, and 0.7%, respectively.
As CNBC points out, Spain's GDP in the second quarter exceeded expectations, growing by 0.7%, above Reuters' forecast of 0.6%. Growth was also higher than in the previous three months, when it was 0.6%, according to data from the Spanish National Institute of Statistics (INE).
- For the second year in a row, we will be number one among developed economies in terms of GDP growth - said Spanish Finance Minister Carlos Cuerpo in an interview with CNBC.
Tourism in Spain accounts for around 12% of the country's GDP as it benefits from the economic rebound following the pandemic.
