Spider plant – a plant that forgives all mistakes

This humble houseplant has been a fixture in homes since the 1980s, but has recently been making a comeback – and not just because of its charming appearance.
Why is it worth having it at home?
- Purifies the air: It effectively absorbs formaldehyde, benzene, and other toxins from the environment. This makes it a natural air filter – ideal not only for allergy sufferers!
- It's child- and pet-friendly: unlike many popular houseplants, spider plant is not poisonous. Curious cats and dogs can safely touch it.
- Easy to grow: it does not require special conditions – a bright, but not directly sunny, place and moderate watering are enough.
- In some cultures it is considered a plant of "happiness and health ".
- Easy to propagate: you can easily give someone a seedling or plant the entire windowsill with spider plants.
