Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski returns to Earth. This marks the end of the Pole's mission to the ISS.
On June 25, 2025 , the Axiom-4 mission launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski , the second Pole in history to orbit and the first to inhabit the International Space Station (ISS). The launch was preceded by delays related to Crew Dragon capsule testing and weather conditions. Ultimately, however, the astronauts—Uskonński-Wiśniewski (Poland), Peggy Whitson (USA, commander), Shubhanshu Shukla (India), and Tibor Kapu (Hungary)—began their approximately 29-hour journey to the ISS.
