Ranking of the happiest cities in the world. 9 distinctions for Poland

The ranking includes nine cities from Poland, all of which are in the "bronze" group. The highest, in 122nd place, is Gdynia with a score of 683 points. The strongest points of this city are the level of its management, social policy, healthcare and the quality of living conditions of its residents.

Ten positions lower, in 132nd place, Białystok landed with a score of 671 points. This city, like the other Polish cities that made it to this year's ranking, also stands out positively in similar aspects to Gdynia.

The Polish podium is closed by Gdańsk, another city belonging to the Tri-City agglomeration. The capital of the Pomeranian Voivodeship scored 648 points. The following places were taken by: Kraków (147th place, 629 points), Lublin (155th place, 618 points), Bydgoszcz (161st place, 611 points), Warsaw (175th place, 585 points), Sopot (180th place, 575 points) and Częstochowa (189th place, 564 points).

The vast majority of the ten happiest countries on our globe are located in Western and Northern Europe, and the group also includes the metropolises of South Asia. All of them won "gold" and in terms of the number of points they scored, they beat all the Polish cities that were included in the "Happy City Index 2025".

The leader of this year's ranking was Copenhagen with a score of 1,039 points. The strongest points of the Danish capital are social policy, care for the environment, economic development and the way the city is managed.

Just behind Copenhagen is Zurich, which has the best performance in similar areas, with 993 points. Rounding out the podium is Singapore with 979 points.
