The 38th edition of the Franciscan Youth Meeting in Kalwaria Pacławska is underway. Wednesday marks the fourth day of the festival – filled with prayer, meetings, and joy.

This year's FSM attracted approximately 700 participants from across Poland . For a week—from July 20 to 26, 2025—they prayed together, listened to conferences, and participated in workshops, services, and concerts. Kalwaria Pacławska once again became a place of living, breathing Church—young, authentic, and searching.

The theme of this year's FSM is "Desire" —a yearning for God, holiness, and meaning. This is precisely what the invited guests spoke about, sharing their testimonies. This is also what Hubert Michalak , a Christian internet creator and co-founder of the clothing brand Glory Wear, whose mission is to combine fashion with evangelization, spoke about. Together with Adam Niźnikowski, he fulfilled his dream of creating clothes that not only express faith but also inspire others to boldly witness to it.

On Wednesday, the participants met with Muniek Staszczyk , the leader of the band T.Love

Muniek, when asked about the lyrics of the song "God" and the fragment: "I would like to be your friend so much", said:

" He seemed stupid to me. And then it turned out to be a movement. Christ is the same. The most important thing is the relationship—and what's more, He cares about being our buddy."

He also talked about his experience of illness – a hemorrhagic stroke in 2019 – saying about it:

" It was gratitude, not resentment. My life was saved. It was a miracle."

Muniek pointed out that life in show business carries many risks – it's easy to fall into addiction, frustration, or depression. He admitted that he always dreamed of being a famous artist, and that dream has indeed come true, but emphasized the importance of maintaining balance. "There are so many illusions in all of this," he noted.

After the meeting, the artist willingly posed for photos, spoke with the young people, and answered their questions. He demonstrated that spiritual themes can also be present in the world of popular music—even if they are conveyed subtly, subliminally.

We still have three days of FSM ahead of us. Upcoming events include a dance party and meetings with other guests – Irmina Śliwińska (event and concert director), Diana Paulinska (sexologist and influencer), and Bishop Piotr Kleszcz, OFMConv.

FSM continues – the desire never ceases . It's not just a festival, but a space for encounters with God, others, and ourselves. Each day brings new experiences, inspirations, and moments that will remain in the heart for a long time.
