The 25th edition of the "Folkowa Nuta" Musical Ensembles Meetings was organized by the Krzywcza local government with financial support from the Przemyśl district. As usual, the atmosphere was homely, atmospheric, and lively. The commune's mayor, Wacław Pawłowski, welcomed those present, inviting them to enjoy the attractions prepared as part of the event. MP Marek Rząsa and the Chairman of the Przemyśl District Council, Piotr Pękalski, also addressed the audience. Among the guests at this year's "Folkowa Nuta" were representatives of the voivodeship and district governments, as well as friendly municipalities and institutions. Grzegorz Lato, an honorary resident of the Krzywcza commune, and his wife also graced the event with their presence. 25 years of tradition are a must, so the anniversary was celebrated with a tasting of a special cake prepared for the occasion. As always, there was also great music, which reigns supreme at every edition of the event. The audience was entertained by members of the Tońko Band from Dynów, serving, among other things, Famous Lviv hits, the Żołyniacy Folk Ensemble from Żołynia, the Jagiellanie Biesiadny Band from Jagiełło, and the stars of the evening were musicians from the Imperium and Power Play bands. DJ Futbollerq, the finale, got the participants in on the fun, inviting them to a disco under the stars, where they could dance to the upbeat rhythms of songs performed from the stage.
The region's cultural richness extends not only to folklore but also to local cuisine, so as usual, the event featured culinary specialties prepared by women's groups. Those who enjoyed homemade delicacies such as pierogi, home-made bread with lard, and sweet pastries certainly didn't go home hungry. Beautiful local handicrafts were also on display at the stands, proving that traditional crafts are still being cultivated here.
