The ceremony began with a Mass at the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Roźwienica, celebrated by Bishop Krzysztof Chudzio. The liturgy was an expression of gratitude for over a century of service by firefighters and spiritual support for their continued work. After the service, the units marched to the square by the fire station, where the official commemorations took place. The President of the Roźwienica Volunteer Fire Department, Bogdan Dachnowicz, emphasized that the Roźwienica Volunteer Fire Department is not only a rescue unit, but also a guardian of local traditions and values. A presentation given by Captain Marcin Dąbrowski also expressed respect for tradition and history. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the awarding of the unit with the prestigious distinction – the "Firefighter's Star of Podkarpacie." As befits an event of this type, individual distinctions were also presented. The Medal of Honor in honor of Bolesław Chomicz was honored as comrade Kazimierz Pelc, while a personal "Subcarpathian Firefighter Star" was awarded to comrade Bogdan Dachnowicz, president of the Roźwienica Volunteer Fire Department. Special recognition was given to comrades Franciszek Haloszka and Edward Dec, who have served continuously with the Roźwienica Volunteer Fire Department for 60 years. Additionally, comrade Wiesław Benedyk was awarded the Gold Medal of Merit for Firefighting. Silver Medals of Merit for Firefighting were awarded to comrades Dariusz Pelc, Tomasz Przepłata, Arkadiusz Chudzik, and Adam Żurawski, and bronze medals to comrades Konrad Kwasiżur, Wacław Kot, and Marcin Dąbrowski. "Exemplary Firefighter" badges were awarded to Arkadiusz Karpiński, Sebastian Pytlarczyk, Grzegorz Zygmunt, Artur Michałowski, and Grzegorz Jurkiewicz.
