Women's Volleyball, Champions League draw: Igor Novara with Fenerbahce and Lodz

The Champions League groups were drawn this morning at the CEV headquarters in Luxembourg: Igor Novara was placed in Pool B with Lodz Budowlani and Massimo Barbolini's Fenerbahce. The fourth team in the group will come from the qualifying rounds. There's already some good news: the Azzurre avoided the Italian derby. In the other groups, Pool A features Vakifbank, Scandicci, Alba Blaj, and the winner of the qualifying rounds. In Pool C, Stefano Lavarini's Vero Volley Milano will face Eczacibasi, Serbian side Zeleznicar, and the winner of the play-offs. In Pool D, Conegliano will face Commercecon Lodz, Germany's Dresdner, and the unseen threat Zeren Ankara. Finally, Pool E features the lower-middle-tier teams, from Poland's Rszesow to Germany's Schwerin, and the winner of the play-offs.
