The Medicean Podistica of Poggio a Caiano is celebrating

Poggio a Caiano (Prato), 5 July 2025 – The Podistica Medicea di Poggio a Caiano greetings party took place at the headquarters of the Ottava Nota Musical Association of Seano, sharing an evening of music and joy with the hosts.

Podistica Medicea, a young company founded in 2019, has already distinguished itself with commitment and passion, organizing high-level running events. Among these, the "Sgambettata Medicea" stands out, which has now become a fixed and highly anticipated event in the local sports calendar, scheduled for next September 21st in Poggio a Caiano.

Among the other important commitments of the association is the collaboration in the organization of the reborn Trofeo Questura di Prato 2025, scheduled for November 2, designated as the Italian Fidal Team Championship. Furthermore, starting from 2025, the company will be included in the organizational team of the Maratonina di Prato.

Podistica Medicea enthusiastically promotes a vision of sport as a form of psycho-physical well-being, promoting the use of green spaces and cycle/pedestrian paths in the area, while at the same time enhancing historical and cultural assets through the race routes.
