Florence, July 12, 2025 - After more than a month of anticipation, Stefano Pioli 's return to the helm of Fiorentina was officially announced today. The Viola club announced the news around noon with a statement on their website and all social media accounts. Pioli will arrive in Florence tomorrow, where he will meet with the management in person after lengthy telephone discussions to make transfer decisions. He will greet fans for the first time on Monday evening, and will present himself to the press at 12:00 PM on Wednesday. Fiorentina also announced the staff that will work with Pioli next season. Two former Viola players, Andrea Tarozzi and Riccardo Taddei, will be present. " ACF Fiorentina announces that the new coach of the Viola First Team is Stefano Pioli , who returns to Florence after wearing the purple shirt as a player, between 1989 and 1995, and leading the Gigliati as coach from 2017 to 2019, has signed a contract that will bind him to the Club until 30 June 2028.

Coach Stefano Pioli, who, together with the first team, will greet the fans on Monday 14 July during the Viola Carpet, will meet the journalists on Wednesday 16 July, at 12:00, inside the Wind Tre Media Center at Viola Park.
