Images of millions of galaxies from the most anticipated telescope VIDEO AND LIVE

Millions of galaxies , asteroids and distant stars : the countdown has begun for the first images from the 'Vera Rubin' telescope , the most anticipated by astronomers around the world. The preliminary images have just been released by the National Science Foundation of the United States, which with the Office of Science of the US Department of Energy financed the construction of the telescope, which is located in the Chilean Andes. Italy is participating in the project with the National Institute of Astrophysics.
This instrument promises to provide an unprecedented acceleration in our understanding of some of the most mysterious aspects of the universe , such as dark energy , dark matter and the existence or otherwise of the mysterious Planet Nine at the edge of the Solar System.
At 4:30 pm Italian time, an international press conference is scheduled to be broadcast live from Washington. At the same time, a live broadcast is also scheduled in Italy, organized in Palermo by Inaf.
