GoBeyond: from every euro invested, over five euros of social impact. The Call for Ideas 2025 is underway

Every euro invested in GoBeyond generates over five in social value. This is what emerges from the SROI (Social Return on Investment) analysis conducted by Promos Srl SB, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin, which certified a return of 5.19 euros for every euro spent in the program promoted by Sisal, now part of the Flutter SEA group.
GoBeyond thus confirms itself as one of the most effective projects in the Italian responsible innovation landscape. Active since 2020, it has contributed to the growth of over 2,000 entrepreneurial projects, offering startups support in training, visibility, networking and development. The measurable approach to social value – still not very widespread in open innovation programs – becomes here an instrument of transparency and responsibility.
“GoBeyond is among the first open innovation programs to concretely measure the value of its impact, thus confirming the social importance of the initiative,” says Camilla Folladori, Chief Strategy Officer of Flutter SEA. “Thanks to a network of strategic partners, GoBeyond has become a
catalyst for startups, facilitating their growth and supporting their scalability. In this way, it accelerates the adoption of innovative solutions capable of transforming the market and strengthening the resilience of the entire entrepreneurial system”.
With these premises, the Call for Ideas 2025 opens, now in its ninth edition. The main prize includes an equity-free grant of 50 thousand euros, in addition to an advisory program reserved for the six finalists. New this year is the prize for internationalization, in collaboration with INNOVIT and dedicated to the memory of Emilio Petrone, which will offer the winning startup an acceleration path in San Francisco, aimed at the US market and ESG issues.
Alongside the call, the GoBeyond Challenge returns, an initiative aimed at startups already established with solutions ready for business integration. Areas of interest include workflow optimization, internal knowledge enhancement, and the development of reliable and ethical technological solutions.
The program also includes an incubation path for three “idea-stage” startups selected by Startup Geeks, as well as six special mentions awarded by partners such as Google, Mamacrowd, SheTech and others.
To participate in the Call for ideas, you must register on the GoBeyond.info website, access the application form and describe your project by attaching a pitch and a video presentation. Registration is open until September 30, 2025.
