Marche Elections: Who are the Brothers of Italy candidates in Ancona?

Ancona, August 25, 2025 – The list of nine Brothers of Italy candidates for the province of Ancona for the regional elections of September 28 and 29 has been presented: the outgoing governor Francesco Acquaroli , a representative of the party and a staunch supporter of Giorgia Meloni, will aim for a repeat victory, particularly in the challenge against Matteo Ricci, Democratic MEP and former mayor of Pesaro.

"The goal is to gain three seats " in the Legislative Assembly, underlines the provincial coordinator and MEP of the Brothers of Italy party, Carlo Ciccioli, former group leader of the party in the Regional Council.

The Brothers of Italy candidates for the province of Ancona are: the outgoing regional councilors Marco Ausili , 36, and Mirella Battistoni , 60; the outgoing regional councilor for the Budget, Goffredo Brandoni , 72; the independent candidate and member of the board of directors of the Marche Airport, Giacomo Bugaro , 56; the lawyer from Senigallia Corrado Canafoglia , 58; the municipal councilor in Castelplanio (Ancona), Simone Cola , 66; the municipal councilor in Ancona, Angelica Lupacchini , 32; the provincial councilor Milva Magnani , 64; and the entrepreneur Sirena Rosciani , 67.
