"This episode of The Cage has a crackling finale. I invite you to watch it because my knee will be the protagonist," wrote Giulia Salemi on X before the episode aired on Thursday, June 19. The co-host, in fact, was hit by a competitor, Sandro, who was carrying a cat house and did not notice the presence of the 32-year-old, causing her to end up on the floor.

"You killed me, Salemi, she destroyed your knees," Amadeus said, running his hands through his hair.

"I feel mortified right now, sorry," the contestant immediately apologized, mortified by the episode.

"No, don't worry," replied Giulia Salemi who continued to host the episode, with a sore knee.

After the episode, Giulia Salemi shared a photo on Instagram showing her in a wheelchair in a hospital room with a perplexed look: "This is why you saw me with ice for days," she wrote.
