Forget Waiting for Black Friday. Levi's Best Jeans Are Already up to 50% Off.

It's easy for me, the style writer, to say you shouldn't hedge whether or not you buy something on how much it is (or is not) on sale. But I know how the real world works. I write about denim all the time, and I use every opportunity I get to recommend the fancy stuff. Honestly though, I spend most days in a pair of $40 Wranglers because I also am a regular American trying to get by. Used to be, good denim only cost a few bucks. Now, it's lower quality and costs more money. Reproductions of what used to be American working clothes now easily cost $200 or more. C'est la vie.

But I'm not here to talk about all that. I'm here to say like with my Wranglers, it's OK to wear cheap jeans. You can still be stylish if your pants cost $30. Of course, I'm also well aware that Levi's trumps my beloved Wrangler in popularity on the coasts, so I will oblige with this: the three best Levi's deal you'll find all year.

505
537 Western Bootcut
501

We've got the 505, my preferred modern Levi's fit, that's selling for around $40. The 527, Levi's take on a Western cut, is going for the same. And the 501—which I don't love in its modern iteration, but cannot deny the popularity of—is hovering at $50, depending on the size and wash. These are three bestselling styles all at unbeatable prices. I encourage you Levi's fans to stock up. Of course, if you want a little bit more, you'll have to leave Amazon. That's especially true if you're looking for a new jacket, which Levi's still does incredible well. Over on the Levi's site, the pre-Black Friday sale is a flat 30 percent off sitewide. That excludes the specialty lines like Levi's Vintage Clothing, Blue Tab, and any collaborations.

Still, there is plenty of jacket gold to mine in the mainline Levi's section. I'm especially fond of that faux suede trucker. Again, as the style guy, I know a good real suede jacket cost at least $1,000, and it is worth every penny. But as a man with a wedding to pay off and a wife who needs a Christmas gift, the idea of a proper suede jacket kills me. This one is a not-so-bad faux suede. Of course there's plenty of denim jackets and shearling options in the lineup.

Alright, that's enough explaining. Pick what speaks to you. Buy it. Then, go forth a new man with refreshed style.
