Sicily Fest, from 1st to 4th May the flavours of Sicily fly to London

The food and wine fair, which this year celebrates 10 years, returns with dozens of stands, wineries, chefs, show cooking, music and talks, between business and fun

Sicily Fest , the only food and wine fair in London entirely dedicated to Sicily, returns to London from 1 to 4 May and this year celebrates its tenth anniversary. Four days packed with content and events dedicated to the food and wine and cultural excellence that make the region famous throughout the world. The event at the Business Design Centre in Islington includes dozens of stands exclusively dedicated to food with 38 exhibitors, 5 bars, 11 wineries, 14 chefs and sommeliers, dozens of show cooking, wine experiences and masterclasses, 2 talks, 6 concerts and 11 DJ sets.

Promoting Sicilian excellence in London is a real mission, which has proven, edition after edition, to be a choice appreciated by the public and beyond. Over the years, Sicily Fest has become a strategic platform between b2b and b2c aimed on one hand at the numerous Italian and Sicilian expats, but also at the English and Europeans. 'Sicilian food' becomes at the same time a cultural and tourist attraction for the public, but also a business opportunity for professionals in the restaurant, tourism and agri-food export sectors. This is not a given. In Sicily, you eat very well. 'Sicilian food' is a must for anyone who wants to deal with this territory rich in ancient tradition and culture. In the 2 thousand square meters that occupy the central part of the venue, hundreds of typical Sicilian products such as capers, almonds, oranges, pistachios, salt, vegetables and much more, will be presented to the public in the various areas into which the fair is divided.

Dozens of stands will offer typical dishes of the island such as gnocchi with Trapani pesto, pane e panelle, arancini, pane cunzato, pasta with squid ink and pasta with swordfish and aubergines. For the 2025 edition, the participation of the Sicily Region is developed with the partnership of various institutions: the Federico II Foundation which will see the presence of President Gaetano Galvagno in London, the Department of Culture and Sicilian Identity, the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Mediterranean Fisheries, Sicily - European Region of Gastronomy 2025, Chamber of Commerce of South East Sicily, Consulate General of Italy, Italian Cultural Institute in London and many others.
