Among the participants, the deputy minister of infrastructure Edoardo Rixi and the president and CEO of FiberCop Massimo Sarmi . THE EVENT PROGRAM

Rixi: “Optimistic about the construction of the Strait Bridge”

"I am optimistic about the construction of the Strait Bridge. In my ministry, you either are optimistic or you change ministry," said Rixi

Rixi: “PNRR, Italy will hit all targets”

“Italy will hit all the targets,” says Rixi about the infrastructure works planned by the PNRR. The deputy minister did not hide the fact that there has been an “increase in costs” and an “extension of times,” also explaining that the PNRR is not suitable “for larger works.”

Rixi: “Extra NATO spending on infrastructure would be useful”

“An ambitious infrastructure plan has been launched,” Rixi said, adding that it would be important to be able to count on extra resources for this. Among these, the vice-minister cited the 5% of NATO spending that has been talked about these days, explaining that a part of these resources could be allocated to this in particular for “dual use” infrastructures.

Rixi: “Infrastructure, a system that feels the effects of time. We need to intervene in a strong way”

"Our system is affected by time, this applies to both railway infrastructure and motorways. We need to intervene strongly", says Deputy Minister Edoardo Rixi
