A journey into the world of wood furniture also for Fantoni employees

The Fantoni Group of Osoppo wanted to organize an “exclusive” visit for its employees to the exhibition “OH! Journey into the world of wooden furniture”, set up by Confindustria Udine, Associazione Archimede e Domenico Taverna and Vetrina dell'Ingegno in the tower of Santa Maria in Udine.

The exhibition, which constitutes the second chapter of the history of the Friulian industry, has a deliberately non-specialist but evocative approach, with the aim of valorising this all-Friulian heritage through themes and contents related to the first part of the wood supply chain (exploitation of regional forestry resources, history of logging, tradition of woodworking, technological innovation) and furniture (history of production activities, design, sustainability).

The Fantoni Group itself has made an important contribution to the contents of the exhibition, thus telling the story of the production process that goes from the forest and the wood recycling platforms to the furniture and furnishings that surround us at home and in the office. Through materials and multimedia supports, the production of the panel by the parent company Fantoni, the impregnation of the papers to ennoble the panels of the subsidiary Lacon of Villa Santina and the processes for obtaining the sound-absorbing systems of another company, Patt of Attimis, are illustrated.

Everyone can visit the exhibition for free every Saturday, from 3pm to 7pm.
