The stars of international dance in Rapallo

Rapallo international dance scene Saturday 19 July, with Villa Tigullio ideal stage for a gala evening. Many stars of dance will take turns in the TTStage of Tatiana Tassara, a woman increasingly at the center of the world of dance in Italy with her event branded Dance & Fashion CIC made in London. An artistic structure capable of conveying many professionals around the world of dance, fashion, photography and all the arts. Among the many choreographies we will see “Pied en l'air” with Anni Martinsén, “The Nutcracker” with Chihiro Tamai and Manuel Sánchez Izquierdo, “My Way” with Alessandro Bonavita and Valerie Ferazzino, “Fallen” with Martin Nudo and “Through you so far” with Elvis Nudo and Hatice Erturk. We start again with the ballet repertoire with “Black swan” in the pas de deux by Chihiro Tamai and Manuel Sánchez Izquierdo, “Paquita” with Alessandro Bonavita and Valerie Ferazzino, “Corsair” with Elvis Nudo and Hatice Erturk and “Carmen” with Chihiro Tamai.
In Rapallo, music will go hand in hand with Tersicore, in fact we will also see “Vivaldi lnverno”, with the Cello of Angela Woon Young Kang and the Violin of Fausto Solci. Finally “Duetto neoclassico” with Alessandro Bonavita and Ciro Salomone and “Mozart” with Elvis Nudo, Martin Nudo and the live musicians. Let's discover together the interpreters of this gala, so unique and heterogeneous for the 2025 gala program of the TTStage. Let's start with Martin Nudo, nominated First Soloist this year. Born in Rapallo, he trained at the Scala Ballet School and graduated from the American Ballet Theatre in New York. He danced with Bayerisches Junior Ballet and Aalto Ballet Essen. Since 2024 he has been appointed principal soloist at the Finnish National Ballet, where he performs leading roles such as Romeo and the Prince from “Sleeping Beauty” in ballets by Cranko, Neumeier, Petit, Bintley, Pastor, Peck, Forsythe and others. Born in Rapallo, Elvis Nudo was appointed Soloist at the English National Ballet in 2025, after a brilliant international career. A graduate of the Ballet School of Teatro alla Scala, he has danced with companies such as the Mikhailovsky Theatre, the Bayerisches Staatsballett and the Finnish National Ballet. Among his most significant roles: Abdur in “Raymonda”, the pas de deux from “The Corsair”, the Spanish Dance in “Swan Lake” and Jaschu in “Death in Venice”. Turkish ballerina Hatice Erturk was born in 1999 in Istanbul and is now appointed Soloist at the English National Ballet in London. She has won prizes in international competitions such as Tallinn and Varna above all and since 2017 she has been dancing with the Finnish National Ballet, performing solo roles in classics such as “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Nutcracker”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Raymonda” and in contemporary creations. Born in Finland and graduated from the Finnish National Ballet School, Anni Martinsén, after spending two years in the youth company, was recently promoted to a member of the Finnish National Ballet corps de ballet. Alessandro Bonavita is an Italian dancer and artistic director, former soloist at the Serbian National Theatre. Today he leads the International Ballet Company Italia and the Krolewski Ballet Klasiczny, with which he brings classics of the repertoire to the stage all over the world. Valerie Ferazzino is an Italian prima ballerina. She made her debut at a very young age on international tours, won prestigious prizes and danced leading roles in the great classics with companies such as the St. Petersburg Ballet. Since 2022, she has been the prima ballerina of the Krolewski Balet Klasyczny and the International Ballet Company Italia. Ciro Salomone is another Italian dancer, trained in Naples. He danced with the Balletto Nazionale Italiano in the great classics and on international tours. Today, he is an artist of the Krolewski Ballet Klasiczny on world tour. Also on stage is Chihiro Tamai, a Japanese dancer, trained in Canada and Europe. She has danced in Germany, Romania and since 2023 she has been the prima ballerina of the Grand Kyiv Ballet, with over 200 performances in leading roles. The 23-year-old Spanish dancer Manuel Sánchez Izquierdo is a heterogeneous dancer. He began with Latin American dances, winning national and European awards. At 13, he switched to ballet, studying in Madrid and London, where he graduated from the English National Ballet School and danced with the English National Ballet in productions such as “Cinderella” and “The Nutcracker”. Also starring on stage are musicians Fausto Solci and Angela Woon Young Kang, respectively an Italian cellist and a South Korean violinist.
