Music, solidarity, and community: the Saues psycho-social and legal gathering

Culture, friendship, and social commitment. A magical evening in the historic village of Roccarainola, in the province of Caserta, where the Psycho-Socio-Legal Area (PSG) of SAUES – the Independent Union for Urgency and Health Emergencies – hosted a convivial gathering that combined the pleasure of being together with a call to shared values. The participants were welcomed by SAUES national president Paolo Ficco, who hosted them with his customary warmth, flanked by representatives of the PSG Executive Committee. The united presence of the leaders confirmed the solidity of an association that, while maintaining its organizational and financial autonomy, continues to stand out for its transparency, integrity, and ethical consistency. The dinner show, enriched by the flavors of traditional cuisine and engaging musical performances, also provided an opportunity to reflect on the new challenges facing the PSG Area. After playing a key role during the pandemic with social and cultural support initiatives, the group now aims to consolidate projects of collective benefit and strengthen its ties with the local area. A moving moment was the presentation of the badges to the members, a symbolic gesture that seals the belonging, friendship, and civic responsibility of each member. A simple yet meaningful ritual, capable of encapsulating the spirit of the association: being a community.
